Grass Seed

Last Saturday, the Grass Bike was seeded at the Farmer's Market on the Capitol Square. With spray adhesive and a bag of grass seed, the bike was created as the crowd strolled through the market. It was fun to see everyone's faces turn from puzzlement to wonder, as they tried to figure out what was going on with this bike.

We look forward to the green results on May 13!

Decorating Party

The art bike decorating party was a success! Many bikes were decorated and much fun was had. Keep your eyes open for art bikes scattered around town. 

A Sesquicentenial Challenge

This year is Madison's 150th Birthday. Recent geneological research shows that 2006 also marks the 150th year of annual Art Bike Happenings in the greater Isthmus area! In the long-standing tradition of all those ingenius peddlers before us, we need 150 riders at this year's ART BIKE RALLY.

Spread the Word and Bring your Friends! Sit down (on your bike) and be counted!

Bring a bike, if you have one, or just come. We have some decorating materials, or bring whatever you like along and enjoy the group energy and creative atmosphere.
